Cursed Nightmare

Cursed Nightmare is a 2D Top Down game where the player while asleep, finds himself stranded in spooky place  inhabited by some creepy beings. However, in the real world danger awaits as well...

If one of those beings gets too close to the player, his FEAR level increases. If it reaches 100, its game over, since he wakes up.

The goal is to traverese and explore the map to uncover its secrets. There are some blocked paths along the way that can be unlocked by finding a key.

To help him with this quest, the player is equipted with a gun of some sorts, that can be activated by pressing the SPACEBAR. The "gun" shoots in the direction the player is facing. WARNING: If the gun is used for a long time without stopping it overheats.

The game was created with my own custom game engine as test of what it can do.
